What if I don’t want to talk about a specific quarterly topic with my client, or want to customize what the topics are?
The scheduled quarterly conversations are not required and can be removed according to your agenda. However, we suggest including a few topics that clients can discuss with you to engage on an ongoing basis.
When do they get the quarterly updates? What prompts this?
Updates are scheduled to go out at the beginning of each quarter (dates provided by the OFP team). If a client registers between updates, you must bcc info@thefinancialplanningexperience.com on your initial outreach to the client which notifies us to add them to the system and send the latest quarterly update.
Can I decide to have an OFP client that is not on this model of quarterly deliveries?
Yes. Please notify our team and we will work with you individually to set up your page accordingly.
Does the client presentation happen the same way as always, or is that also changing?
How will tracking renewals work if I get a lot of clients? What types of outputs/deliveries will the design center be providing?
How should I go about getting a renewal?
What if I have a joint client with another advisor?
If you register as an individual vs. team and share a joint client, you must select one person to “own” that client for OFP updates.
How do I set up my Calendly? Can I restrict clients from booking conversations day of, etc.?

Step-by-step instructions for recording your Welcome and Learn More OFP Videos
Welcome Video
For the Welcome Video, we recommend recording this on your Camera application using the default software listed on your computer (look up “camera” on your computer search bar). Once you have the mp3 versions saved to your computer, please drop it into the Box folder titled “Welcome Video”. Click OFP Materials —> 2021 —> Q1 —> Welcome Video

Zoom
Log into Zoom Web Browser
Under the “Host A Meeting” drop down menu (in the top right corner), select “With Video On”
Once your meeting opens, check to make sure your video and microphone are on and directed to the correct speaker and camera setting
PPT
Now, open the Learn More ppt in a separate window, select “slide show” on the top navigation, hit “Set Up Slide Show” and make sure “Presented by a speaker (full screen)” is selected in the top left corner. Then click “okay” and return to your zoom meeting screen

Click “share screen” at the bottom and in the dialogue window that appears, open your Learn More ppt presentation
Once your ppt is being shared, click the begin ppt presentation icon in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. This should enlarge to full screen and allow you to advance slides using your clicker, space bar or arrow keys
When the ppt opens to full screen, your video will be reduced to a small size, please move the video pod to the top right corner of the screen and adjust accordingly
Lastly, hover your mouse over the green ID bar at the top of your screen to unveil a dropdown menu. Slide your pointer over to “More” and click for another dropdown menu where “Record” will appear
Please note the shortcut to start/stop recording is ALT+R and to pause is ALT+P
Store the recording to your computer and begin narrating from the provided script, which can be found in your Box folder
